About Cloe
Cloe is an accounting workflow integration for ITS Logistics, developed and supported with technical assistance from FortIA. These terms govern authorized use of Cloe and its connection portal. Cloe is intended for ITS Logistics operations and is not a public accounting service.
Authorized use
ITS Logistics permits its authorized personnel to use Cloe for its business operations. This permission is limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and ends when ITS Logistics withdraws authorization. You may connect a QuickBooks Online company only if you have authority to grant access on its behalf. Keep access credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access to accounting@itslogistics.net.
Do not use Cloe to access another organization's records, bypass access controls, upload malicious content or conduct unlawful activity.
What the integration does
Cloe supports accounting correspondence, retrieves existing invoices and payment information, records customer payment notifications and routes exceptions to the ITS Logistics accounting team. It may send operational emails to verified business contacts as part of these workflows.
Cloe's QuickBooks functions retrieve existing accounting records. Cloe does not create or alter QuickBooks invoices, apply payments, move money or initiate collections. The accounting permission shown by Intuit during authorization is broader than these implemented functions.
Cloe uses automated text interpretation to identify requests and extract references from emails and readable attachments. Automated interpretation can be incomplete or incorrect. ITS Logistics personnel remain responsible for reviewing exceptions, verifying bank receipts and making accounting decisions. A payment notification or expected delivery date does not establish that funds have been received.
Connected services and information
Connected services, including QuickBooks Online, remain subject to their own terms. Cloe's availability depends in part on those services and on ITS Logistics infrastructure. Access can be paused for maintenance, security or operational reasons. ITS Logistics business records remain its records; connecting Cloe does not transfer their ownership.
The Privacy Policy explains how Cloe processes information. Existing agreements between ITS Logistics and its service providers continue to govern their relationship.
Disconnection and changes
An authorized administrator can revoke Cloe's access through QuickBooks Online's connected-app controls. See Disconnect QuickBooks for guidance. Revocation stops future authorized access to QuickBooks; it does not automatically erase records already held in ITS Logistics systems.
ITS Logistics may update these terms as Cloe changes. The current version and its update date will appear on this page. For service or terms questions, contact accounting@itslogistics.net.
QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Cloe is an independent integration and is not an Intuit product.
